ADMISSION OPEN FOR THE CLASSES FROM NURSERY TO IX STD FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2018 - 19

Admission Test
There is no admission test for Pre junior classes but for Classes Junior to VIII the aspiring candidates have to assure school of that basic knowledge of relevant subjects of English, Mathematics and concerned languages.

To create a positive attitude in a child towards learning as an immediate enrichment of life and as a preparation for further education. To provide each child with opportunities to discover and foster interest and talents in arts and other non-academic areas. To initiate in the students a sense of mutual respect, love, friendship and universal brotherhood. The school will always lay stress on providing quality education to young impressionable minds. To develop our students into multi-faceted personalities, our curriculum lays equal emphasis on academics and extra-curricular activities.

RULES & REGULATIONS FOR ADMISSION

  • Completed registration forms to be supported with the relevant documents.
  • Entries with regard to the name, date and date of birth should be accurate as per the birth certificate.
  • Incomplete registration forms not accompanied by relevant documents will not be accepted.
  • Filling up of the form does not guarantee the admission.
  • School management reserves the right to reject any admission if documents are inappropriate or not genuine.
  • Underage children will not be admitted as per the instructions from the education board.
  • Please note that the school will not provide photocopying facility. Please bring adequate copies of relevant documents to avoid any inconvenience.

DOCUMENTS TO BE SUBMITTED AT THE TIME OF ADMISSION

  • Completed registration form
  • Original copy of Birth Certificate and also photocopy.
  • Original copy of Transfer Certificate attested from Education Dept. and also photocopy.
  • Six passport size photos
  • Photocopy of Progress report of previous class of study.
  • Study cum conduct certificate of previous class of study.

INSTRUCTIONS TO PARENTS

With an objective of giving personal care to the students, parents are requested to follow the below mentioned instructions:

  • You are requested to acknowledge that child admitted to the school is on the conclusion that they will remain in the school for the complete course of study. In case you are willing to withdraw your child you must give notice at least 2 months in prior at the beginning of the following term, failing which the student will have to pay the entire term fees. Then only progress card and transfer certificate will be provided to the parents.
  • Parents here are requested not to ask the school authorities to disturb your child often to answer your phone calls. In case of any necessity or emergency, information will be received or given to the student.
  • We sincerely request parents to keep track of their child’s progress and give their valid suggestions for further improvement. You are requested to sign the diaries allocated to your child on daily basis.
  • We request you, not to ask permission for your child to attend functions like birthdays, marriages, etc frequently. In that case, the school management is not responsible for the loss of your child’s studies and attendance. Minimum 80% attendance is a must for an academic year.
  • All the school fees must be paid at the concerned school office within the time period. If any parent fails to pay the fee even after repeated reminders, the child’s name will be automatically removed from rolls without any further notice and the transfer certificate will, however, not be issued until all dues are paid.(Refer Fee Rules for more details)
  • The Principal and the school management in the interest of the school reserves the rights to withdraw the admission of your child based on conduct, behavior or irregularity.

FEE RULES

  • Fee can be paid monthly, quarterly, half yearly/annually. Fee to be paid strictly in advance.
  • Fee for vacation months of April & May must be paid in advance before final exam begins.
  • Fee once paid is not refundable.
  • Fee must be paid for the months during which the student’s name has been carried on in the class register even if the child has been absent during those months.
  • Fee must not be sent through the child. Parents are requested to come to the school to pay the fee. Fee is accepted during school working hours.
  • In case of payment by cheque, it must be crossed and drawn only in favour of Pragathi Trust and Pragathi School as advised by the accounts staff. In case any cheque issued by the parent is dishonored by the bank, fee will be accepted only in DD, thereafter.
